Vimto

Huge thanks to the Clothworkers’ Foundation for awarding the young people £30,000 to purchase a 9-seat vehicle that will transform what we’re able to offer as a community. This Mercedes Vito – affectionately named “Vimto” by the young people themselves – is already opening up new opportunities and making adventures far more accessible for everyone involved.

Having a dedicated vehicle means we can now take more young people further afield, giving them access to outdoor spaces, nature-based experiences, and activities that simply weren’t possible before. From woodland sessions and coastal adventures to day trips that encourage confidence, connection, and exploration, Vimto is helping us remove practical barriers that can often stand in the way of these experiences.

It also gives us the flexibility to support the everyday graft that keeps our projects running, whether that’s transporting tools and equipment to the allotment, hauling supplies for our woodland work, or making sure we can respond quickly to whatever the day demands.

More than just a van, Vimto represents freedom, possibility, and growth. It means more young people can take part, more memories can be made, and more meaningful connections with the outdoors can happen. Thanks to the Clothworkers’ Foundation’s generous support, we’re able to expand what’s possible and continue creating opportunities that will have a lasting impact for years to come.
