View ProjectThe Tribune Trust is a registered charity dedicated to creating safer, stronger communities across Lincolnshire and the East Riding of Yorkshire. Working in partnership with the High Sheriffs of Lincolnshire and the East Riding of Yorkshire, Humberside Police, and Humberside Fire and Rescue Service, the Trust provides grants to projects that tackle the social issues that can contribute to crime and anti-social behaviour.
With a strong focus on young people, the Trust supports initiatives that promote good citizenship, active recreation, and positive opportunities that help individuals build confidence, resilience, and a sense of belonging.
We are delighted to have received a grant of £1,500 from the Tribune Trust, helping us expand the experiences we can offer the young people we support.
The funding has enabled us to add a tow bar to Vimto, our much-loved 9-seat vehicle. While a simple addition, it will make a huge difference by allowing us to tow our caravan and create a safe, secure welfare space wherever our activities take place. Young people will have somewhere to shelter from the weather, take a break, enjoy refreshments, and access support when needed.
Part of the grant will also contribute towards fuel costs, helping us travel further afield to outdoor destinations such as the Peak District and Lake District. These trips provide opportunities for young people to connect with nature, build confidence, develop new skills, and create lasting memories.
The Tribune Trust’s support will have a lasting impact, helping us make outdoor adventures more accessible, enjoyable, and inclusive for everyone involved. We are incredibly grateful for their investment in our young people and the opportunities it will create.

View Project"We met Synergy in 2017 as we needed support with accessing grant funding. Since then we have formed a really strong partnership that has enables us to completely renovate our facilities and engage more young people in rural activities. The young people that attend Synergy are some of the kindest, most polite and dedicated young people we have come across and we love having them here at the Centre to enjoy all sorts of rural activities."
